Job Classes

THE CLERIC

Those who overlook the Cleric due to her small stature and cheeky charm do so at their own peril. This powerhouse healer class casts spells which boost offensive and/or defensive stats, absorb massive amounts of damage, and which can even raise allies from the dead. Her other compelling skills include erasing positive magical effects from enemies and punishing them for daring to cast spells themselves. The Cleric's enchanted dresses and graceful wands cloak a will of steel and particularly deadly attacks against demons and Undead. Despite the horror she witnesses on the battlefield on a regular basis, the Cleric stands her ground and thanks Aika for the chance to fight evil in its ugliest forms.

THE DUAL GUNNER

Where other classes fight with raw force, powerful weapons or potent magic, the Dual Gunner uses trickery and an arsenal of enemy-weakening spells to take down her opponents. While she lacks the pure damage of a rifleman, or the survivability of a warrior, or the wide-area power of a warlock, she is excellent in mobile fights and has high spike damage to take down soft targets or soften up sturdier ones. The DG has dozens of tricks up her sleeve - a root, slow, sleep, stun, cloak, and even a poison that saps away her enemy's mana. With such a wide variety of abilities, and enough stopping power to drop most enemies, she is truly the terror of anyone she can catch alone.

THE PALADIN

The Paladin is a pillar of support and a very well-rounded class, particularly with regards to defensive might. She carries a shield and one-handed sword, but her powers extend far beyond her melee attack capabilities. With extensive healing powers and the ability to block harmful spells, the Paladin's stamina on the battlefield is unmatched. Her facility in manipulating the attack focus of enemies would certainly prove useful in allowing allies to rest and recover before taking on more foes. The Paladin is also a very effective class when it comes to dealing with strong Undead, as her holy energy-enchanted blade reduces them very quickly to dust. Attired in protective metal armor against both physical and magical strikes, the Paladin charges triumphantly into battle with the Goddess Aika's powers strengthening her soul.

THE RIFLEMAN

Precise. Stealthy. Fatal. The Rifleman's well-aimed bullets barrel out of the shadows, piercing armor and dealing massive critical damage. Many of his attacks also incapacitate enemies or lower their defenses, leaving them even more vulnerable to assault. At higher levels, the Rifleman gains the ability to shoot area effect shells as well as build fixed turrets which fire autonomously, increasing his deadliness. His range, dexterity, and talent for picking off weak foes without attracting attention make him a singular asset to any party. Armed with increasingly powerful two-handed rifles and protected by sturdy leather suits, the Rifleman is truly a class to be contended with ; whether or not you know he's there.

THE WARLOCK

The brilliant, powerful Warlock is a master of offensive magic, especially of the dark variety. His supernatural targeted and area effect spells wreak havoc on the defenses of his enemies and quickly drain their magical powers. Carrying a staff and arrayed in enchanted robes, he rapidly subdues the weak-minded, often stunning them or rendering them otherwise helpless. While exceptionally potent, his spells sometimes carry the risk of damaging the Warlock himself, making it beneficial to keep a Paladin or Cleric nearby. His latent teleportation abilities may prove essential to any party wishing to flee an overly powerful foe.

THE WARRIOR

Towering, brutal, and relentless, the Warrior wields two-handed swords with unsurpassed strength. Although primarily a melee fighter, he may also use area effect attacks which deal physical damage to enemies within a certain radius. His armor is optimized for physical protection while allowing for the freedom of movement he needs to destroy all those who oppose him. The Warrior's battle cries strike fear into the hearts of his foes and also encourage his allies, increasing his value in a well-rounded party. Approach a battle-hardened Warrior with extreme caution, particularly if he is in a berserk state.
